North Cornwall: Special Mass for all affected by North Cornwall FloodsA special Mass was celebrated in Tintagel, the day after torrential rain wreaked havoc throughout the area served by the church.  The Catholic Church in Tintagel serves the north Cornwall area from Crackington Haven in the north to Davidstow and camelford in the east and Port Isaac to the south.   The entire area was lashed by rain for up to 4 hours yesterday. Most of the area serves by the church was in the disaster area with Boscastle,Crackington Haven and Camelford badly hit. |
