Kerrier: Nude and lewd beach could be closed.An unofficial nudist beach may be forced to close after reports of young army cadets being affronted by naked men. Penhale Sands, at Perranporth, is private Ministry of Defence property but has become notorious as a venue for ‘cottaging’ - a place where homosexual men search for partners. Army cadets as young as 12 said they were frightened when a grown, naked man pursed them. Police say they will arrest anyone conducting lewd behaviour. |
