North Cornwall: Silver Award for North Cornwall Attraction

Cornwall’s Crealy achieved Silver in the Visitor Attraction of the Year, 2005 Cornwall Tourism Awards, held at St Meillion Golf and Country Club.

Angela Wright, Managing Director at Cornwall’s Crealy said, “We are thrilled to have won this award. It is a great way to start this winter season when we are open for the first time, adn we look forward to welcoming both our local visitors and holidaymakers to the Park in the year ahead.
Cornwall’s Crealy recently launched a new attraction to celebrate the Park being open at weekends and school holidays over the winter season, for the first time, following a successful summer season.

Cornwall's Crealy is home to the famous Trelow Shire horses, with two new foals born this year, and has been a farm for many generations. The Park is a recreation of a country childhood, where children create their own magical memories of country living with adventurous play, rides, Shire horse grooming, animal handling, lamb feeding and wildlife to explore.

Following a year of substantial investment in facilities and utilities, Cornwall’s Crealy has opened many new attractions in 2005, including Cornwall’s first Summer Sunflower Maze, Swampbusters Eco-Adventure, Pony Express Ride, the October Pumpkin Patch, Crealy Construction Co. and Father Christmas’ Big Adventure, which runs every weekend and school holiday until the 23rd December.

Cornwall’s Crealy is open weekends and school holidays until 31st March, except 24th, 25th and 26th December and 1st January.
