Artist offering refuge to pigeonsAn artist's studio in the Isles of Scilly has become an official sanctuary for lost racing pigeons. Patsy Swanborough has already looked after 54 valuable racers this season. She contacts the owners and arranges to send the birds home by helicopter. The Pigeon Racing Association has acknowledged her efforts by helping her build a proper loft in St Mary's. |
