PENZANCE BEAT LIVERPOOL (FEDS!)Penzance Ladies FC were amongst a massive 128 women's teams competing at the Moss Farm 7s in Cheshire over the weekend. The Magpies beat Bolton Ambassadors and Liverpool Feds, drew with group runners-up Wigan and new Premier League side, Preston North End. There were single-goal defeats to group-winners Stretford Victoria and fellow Northern Combination League team, Chester City, plus Wirral. All games in the group were very close and no team were beaten in all their games. Stretford and Wigan were the only side not to lose, Penzance were the only side to beat Bolton.
