A Rally for a Cornish AssemblyDecember 12th 2006 will be the fifth anniversary of the 50,000 declarations for a Cornish Assembly being presented to 10 Downing Street. To mark this, Mebyon Kernow – the Party for Cornwall has announced that it will be hosting a Rally for a Cornish Assembly at Bodmin’s Shire Hall Suite on Saturday 9th December 2006. The doors will open at 1.30 with the event starting at 2.30 prompt. Speakers will include Dafydd Iwan, President of Plaid Cymru, Cllr Dick Cole, Leader of Mebyon Kernow and others to be announced. There will also be an evening of free entertainment at the Shire Hall Suite from 7.00 onwards with Cornish music group Dalla and others. In the evening, there will also be a public bar and food! |
