The composition of the new council will be: 9 Liberal Democrats 5 Independent 3 Mebyon Kernow - The Party for Cornwall 3 Labour 2 Conservatives 1 Green Four years ago three Mebyon Kernow councillors were elected but all three have had to stand down due to health and personal reasons. The new councillors are Cliff Stephens, Conan Jenkin and Loic Rich. They will form the youngest group of councillors on the new council. The new council will take office in May this year. |
