Cornwall and the Cornish by Brycchan Carey 

Cornwall is an odd place to have been brought up in. Most people in the United Kingdom see it as a holiday destination while the Cornish see it as a country in its own right, only incidentally connected with England. I don't believe in full independence for all the British nations because as a United Kingdom we have so much to gain from sharing our experiences. I do believe that many decisions can be taken at the local level and that if devolution is right for Scotland and Wales, it is right for Cornwall as well.
