Newly refurbished one bedroom holiday apartment, situated in the heart of the busy fishing village of Newlyn, between Penzance and Mousehole. Previously the Troika Pottery, this modern and spacious apartment is an ideal base to explore West Cornwall.
The apartment has a large, open plan lounge and dining area, a shower room and modern kitchen with one large bedroom. All modern appliances including cooker with hob and microwave, Free Sky TV in lounge and bedroom. Kitchen also has a washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, iron & ironing board, plus a hair dryer in the bedroom. All bedding and towels are provided along with hot water, heating and electric which are included in the price. Accomodation is as I like my home, everything is fresh, clean and new. Central heating if the weather isn't great, really good water pressure so unlimited hot showers when you come home at night. Lots of pubs and restaurants within walking distance, Penzance promenade begins within 100 yds of the apartment so you can enjoy a level walk to Penzance in the evening if you wish and enjoy the views out to sea and to St Michaels Mount in Marazion.

The village is ideally sited to explore the very west of Cornwall with Sennen Cove, Portcurno (Minnack theatre and amazing beach) and LandsEnd all within 30 minutes to the west and St Ives and the miles of golden sand at Hayle, a short drive to the east. Newlyn itself is a very interesting little village, with the working harbour and fish market just two minutes walk across the road from the apartment. There you can see the fish being landed from the large trawlers or walk the pontoons in the harbour to see the local bass fishermen bring their catch ashore. The village has 5 pubs, several restaurants, a post office, CO-OP etc, although the town of Penzance is only 5 minutes by car. The apartment is in a small, cobbled side street in the oldest "Fradgan" area of Newlyn and therefore, parking has to be on the pay and display car park next to the fish market but this is no more than 50 yds away and inexpensive.
