Gobblin' boy is back? You have never denied being him and don't seem bothered by being linked to him…. that means either you are as green as grass here, or your name is Steve Reeves! You punctuate like him, you spell like him, …. you smell like him!
Even if you aren't him you seem to want to fill his shoes…. Happy days!
Nyaaaa, haaa, haaa, haaaa, haaaaaa!

Back on topic … yes I am going … I'm the one in blue!
I have travelled around the world from Australia and will be at my first open Gorsedh meeting, after being 'made' a Bard in 1988 at Poldhu for services to the Cornish in Australia.
There should be 6 of us from Australia and we are very much looking forward to being involved and meeting old friends and making new acquaintances.

Anselm, you wouldn't need a translation if you'd only get yourself along to a Cornish class and learn the language. Or if you can't face Truru college on a wet evening you could do a correspondence course. Details of all courses here:
http://www.magakernow.org.uk/i…..leid=38583
As it is, you don't know what you're missing. I won't translate all of Eddie-C's Cornish that has caught your eye, but a rough and ready translation of the beginning of it, as a taster, is:
"He dashed across the field and threw open the barn door. Moonlight flooded across the floor and he could just make out the sensuous curves of a naked body lying languidly in the straw. Overcome with previously undiscovered feelings that threatened to overwhelm him, he finally managed to take three strides forwards, tearing as he did so at his clothes, and throwing his miner's helmet to one side. The tallow candle secured to its brim flickered for a moment and was then extinguished…."
You'll have to get to one of those classes – then you can read the rest of the story for yourself.
