What will you do if Radio Cornwall plays one of your songs?

Listening to the Pirates game on Radio Home Counties yesterday, I could have sworn they played 'This one's for the Boys" at the end. What happened Graham – change of 'Hart'?Confused

No Carbilly. I wrote to Radio Cornwall and told them not to play my music and expected them to comply. Last weekend, David White played the new single twice and I let it go because it promotes the Games campaign. I was prepared to U turn if they gave it regular air play. However, enough time has passed now and this has not transpired. It has not been played since and their coverage of the Games campaign has been disgraceful. Yell

I will write again now and demand they stop. I want nothing more to do with this so-called local radio station because of their total intransigence to the Cornish question in general.Yell

Carbilly,

The Pirates, not Radio Cornwall, always play "This one's for the boys" at the conclusion of the match – so if RC were still broadcasting with post match analysis anything played over the tannoy could be heard on the radio.

By the way Graham have to say how much I enjoyed your gig at the Rec yesterday - that you kept playing and singing with that manic little deer dancing and waving the flag in front of you I don't know.

Credit me with some intelligence – I'm well able to differentiate between a song played on Camborne RFCs P.A, excellent though it is, and FM quality radio!Surprised
Graham, I'm afraid that this is the default anti-Cornish position that Radio not-at-all Cornwall always displays. I do think though in your case that you may want to think very carefully about your course of action. At least at the moment your in a position to have some influence at the station, surely?

Will Matthew Clarke play your music on Radyo an Kernewegva, Graham?  Or on Pirate?  Will Atlantic FM play it?

Sooner or later, something is going to have to be done about BBC Radio London (Cornwall branch).  A boycott campaign, perhaps.

Speaking of the campaign, Mr Hart, I had a quick couple of questions, saves me emailing them to you.

1) How much will the committee receive from the fund?

2) On what grounds are Campaign Kernow challenging the decision made by the CGF, and what remedies are they seeking?

Thanks kenwyn. I've had far worse than that jumping around in front of me.

My influence is limited to the begging bowl and I've had enough of that Carbilly. I feel that someone in my position has to make some sort of stand.

David will always do his best Shaz, but he is restricted as generally speaking, they all are.

Matthew didn't come back to me on the games launch and I've not had time to contact him re Radyo an Kernewegva.  Pirate and Atlantic only play classic hits

Sooner or later, something is going to have to be done about BBC Radio London (Cornwall branch).  A boycott campaign, perhaps.

I totally agree Craig but I'm afraid we set our sights too low. We must take it to the very top and keep coordinated pressure on them. I can't see any other way.

Nothing. As is the upkeep of the website by FTI until it's over.

On what grounds are Campaign Kernow challenging the decision made by the CGF.

By way of a Judicial review of their decision to turn us down.

and what remedies are they seeking?

I'm not quit sure what you mean maliAft4.

In all honesty, both the promotion of the Games campaign and the  new CD to compliment it,  are not at the top of my "things to do"  list at present. They are both up and running and I'm very  happy with that. I remain extremely confident in raising the £50,000 needed,  but I'm by far and away more focussed elsewhere.
