What with mispronounced place names and lack of recognition for Cornwall as a Duchy…this morning a Reporter reporting on a matter of a lottery machine and its possible removal from the Post Office and Stores at Sennen,,,,,was heard to say
" This is the first and last lottery machine and post office and stores IN ENGLAND"
Will they never learn? or do they just do it to Annoy??

Or to brainwash?
Unfortunately, I think you will find that it is them who have been brainwashed, and do not know any better.
It is not the attempt at brainwashing we are fighting, but the results of it.

Everyone has their own particular part to play. No part is too great or too small, no one is too old or too young to do something. It is apathy that is the enemy of us all.

I'm not so sure, Paddy. You NEVER hear the term Duchy ever used on RC – so different to the Mike Hoskens, Chris Blount, Ted Gundry era, when 'Duchy' was the usual term used on that station. 'C*unty' is used so many times, often several times in a three-minute period, that it's utterly unnatural. It seems to be a deliberate policy.

The Brainwashed Brainwashing the Brainwashed
Thing is the BBC person is telling it as it is on the can – it shouldn't really be called that should it!
I heard something on the radio, think it might have been about the expenses, some old law from the 1800's was being used to keep some MP's out of court… EIS use an old law when it suits I thought

That tells me that there IS a deliberate anti-Cornish policy being operated by the BBC. Have we the right to demand the name of that producer, and demand to have him/her slung out?

Is it because its not in the script to promote Political parties – would the producer have the same attitude if he was mentioning Lib Dems or Conservative etc… that is perhaps a question to ask them…
Not good is it that London HQ is pulling the strings on a so called "CORNWALL" radio station…

I think we both know that an anti-Cornish policy is being operated Marhak, we are aware of it in many other fields, so why not at the BBC?
We do have the right to demand the name of the producer, but as to getting them removed – well, you've more chance of getting a Cornish Station Manager…

Ha, very true! It'll be the usual (though always unwritten) case of: 'Cornish applicants for this post need not apply'.
