Hello, I work for a television production company called Twofour Broadcast and we have been commissioned by Virgin 1 to develop documentary series about Britain's seaside attractions.

We are looking to do some filming in and around Polzeath and are looking for a local expert of the area, specifically with knowledge of tourism etc. I would be most grateful if you could drop me a line if you think this is something you could help me with.

Many Thanks

Jon Hanney

Donald Rawe springs to mind.  He's currently living in Probus but is looking to move back to the Padstow area.

Please tell me it isn't going to be a program featuring 'dudes' with VW camper vans who come doen from London to 'surf' at Cornwall's must be seen at surf beach. Not another look at designer surfers who can't even paddle yet have £700 boards and know more about the lifestyle than those of us who've been living it for 25+ years.

See my other vent on the matter:

They'll be very English dudes, Chris, with university education.  The locals will be portrayed as mental Neanderthals with thick East Anglian accents.  Same as usual.

Truru, surely you realise that university education is just a synonym for indoctrination in to the anglo imperialist hive Laugh
