Still enjoying their discomfiture stonefly? I was sick and tired of hearing the nationalistic outpourings from the English media even before it started....... Oh I forgot it's not really nationalistic when the English talk ad infinitum about their sports teams???? One question about the England cricket team: although always called "England", it would seem it actually represents England and Wales [Scotland and Ireland have their own teams] so why don't we hear it called England and Wales? I'm sure many Welsh people are pleased it isn't but still a curiosity. |

Regarding the current test match: The TUC has urged employers to be flexible about allowing workers to watch the match. This is enough to make me want to tear up my union card - what the hell are they on???? The next thing is we will be ordered to go to the nearest sports stadium where we will have to watch England play and where it will be heavily frowned upon to be seen not to clap at every England run or when their opponents are bowled out. |

I've decided that today I'm in charge in the lab and have forced my subjects to listen to the cricket on the radio. HAHAHAHAHAHA. |

 Well I've heard that rumour also and that these cyborgs are able to control the weather within a few miles of their position - particularly they are able to manufacture cloud banks to hide the sun not specifically to stop play when this increases their chances of winning, but because they have to go into the pavillion to recharge their batteries to enable them to play for short bursts between recharges. |
