Flora London Marathon 2005: Hey, hey, hey!! Well I've gone and done it now. Ask me how I feel about it after 26.2 miles (my first marathon) and I will most likely give you a different answer. If you'd like to see me going through months of torture, ahem I mean training, see me do things I normally only do after a night out such as a boxing-day swim or wax my legs :-/ then please feel free to donate whatever you can. Also, if you can take time to find out about the charity Shelter and the work they do, then you will know who your money will be going to. It is this charity I have chosen to run for, as I've worked with homeless/re-housed people, and have seen the potential that some have given the chance. So go-on & donate away, and I will reply to all of those who sponsor me. Thankyou, Me CLICK HERE to donate. |

Cheers to those who have donated/pledged. Have put your names up in lights on http://www.a1surf.com/surfcheck-sw-forecast.html I'm sooooooo not looking forward to the boxing day swim  Training going ok but aching like a mule at the moment. Xmas should be good for 'kicking back' for a few days |

Going out for my first 'long' run tomorrow along camel trail. 10-12miles would be ideal and I'm aiming to do it in a time of no more than 1.5-2hours. Running has been ok up until now and had enjoyed all the outings apart from my last one on Wednesday - legs fealt like lead but it got me used to running through it I guess. Weather cleared up nicely this afternoon when I took the plunge in the sea - wasn't too bad but didn't last long in the water. It was almost fun, and really refreshing especially with a beer at the end!! |

You are as kinky as a Perranporth rat. You should be drinking and indulging at Christmas. |

I would love to do the London marathon but alas i'm not fit any more. Once upon a time i was as fit as a fiddle and could have run for the RAF, but i put my family commitments first which didn't do my career any good! Anyway good luck with the running and training Me. |
