it's a three bedroom, timber framed house on carew ploe close. i am not sure if it's big enough for four kids though. it's quite a modern place. so it is not going to be large. it is on an estate, and it is similar to those over at tolvadden. i think they were all built by the same people at about the same time. |

We'd all like a large 3 bedroom house! I pay £700 a month for mine. If I bought it I'd be paying around £1000 a month. Ho hum, wouldn't be able to afford to have kids then though. How I love post Thatcher's Britain. Wish I'd bought a council house 20 years ago and retired to Spain on the proceeds! |

I think paying that amount in rent is bad enough, thats what my sister pays,i pay £350 (from council) but then we are limited to where we can live.I really dont understand all this, how are people supposed to buy houses now adays?I couldnt buy a house with what a morgage company said we could borrow and i couldnt afford the repayments on it anyway.Something needs to change otherwise this country will over took by council houses,it gets me mad,my husband works full time and we would love to buy a house in a nice area, but i dont think we will ever get the chance, they put the price of houses up but what about the wages, dont they realise people need to live as well as keep a roof over their head.Alright those rich lot what about people like us?Cheers for reply Tam |
