I've heard the latest trend is Spiderman etc suits, what do you reckon, you should have the right contacts.. Perhaps a white wetsuit that would be unusual, with the black and white flag on. Shaz - nah, but a pasty pocket or some kind of camelback sewn in would be better

Like Spider have for ski wear, but definetly more challenging. Or even a wetsuit with a small inbuild life jacket (collar type) that would keep your head above water, dont know how you could initiate it? Or perhaps just a 100% waterproof rucksack, for keeping your phone and wallet in while your swimming/surfing?

If you had something like that you wouldn't be able to duck dive under waves. If there were some device which could inflate from a cylinder, there could be problems with skin freezing to it when it's used.

Something that only went off if you needed it too, like you were unconsious or submerged for more than 2mins or something? The cylinder required would be very small, like a small airgun cartridge. It wouldnt cause freezing because it wouldnt get cold enough, not enough pressure - something like 200 - 300psi would surfice. And, it could be insulated all the same. Maybe a blood sats moniter sewn in to the suit could tell if your oxy saturation dropped sugnificantly, it would deploy?

The vast majority of 'surfers' know and have this; sadly it's often tourists and beginners who fall into this bracket...! :\|
