There are also other research papers from UCL that refer specifically to Cornish communities in the UK and abroad.

They say the name Ellery is english! icon_mad
How dare they! icon_mad
Ellery comes from the Cornish word for swans.
I can trace my Ellery ancestry back to the 1520's, all in Cornwall, in an area that would have spoken Cornish at that time. So how could it be english? icon_mad

We will make Cornwall see the lies.
We will open up their eyes.
We Cornish born and bred.
We fight on till we all are dead.
