Topic:	Best way to 'educate' a school?
lizzie Posts: 10 Posted: 6.Mar 2007 - 09:06	My children came back from school yesterday saying they'd had an assembly about St George! Apparently a lot of the children pointed out that it was, in fact, St Pirans day and the teacher said she was aware of that but she'd specifically been asked to do a talk on St George. I called the school just now and am waiting for them to call back. Is it unreasonable for me to be quite upset by this?

My best advice would be to get your hands on a copy of John Angarracks's book, 'Our Future is History'. In part the book describes JA's own struggle to get a Cornish education for his Cornish children and provides plenty of advice, hints and tips for other parents who wish to do the same thing. Any students, teachers, or students whose parents wish for them to learn Cornish history/culture could come along.
