Hi Sue Chris is right - a little more info would be helpful - what kind of photographer/work, and what sort of information do you want? Does it need to be, say, fine art photography or would someone who does PR work (and therefore has their stuff printed in newspapers, magazines, etc) do...? What level of detail is required? |

Hi, thanks for your replies, information needed is: any personal details ie: where they live, where they grew up, how they got into photography, they would preferably take photos of flowers/gardens using macro photography, digital or analogue pictures, published photos either in magazines or art galleries. They also have to be cornish! Any info or web sites would be appreciated. many thanks sue |

There's always Joe Cornish http://www.joecornish.com/ Unfortunately, not actually Cornish though and lives in Yorkshire! But one of the best landscape photographers around and has spent a good bit of time down here. Other local photographers that spring to mind: Lee Searle Bob Berry The Gibson Family |

Man Ray I heard once attended a month long house party in the house opposite the Heron Inn in Malpas, Truro. I mean the house over the river. |

(Sir) Humphry Davy (bart.), chemist and physicist originating from Penzance ALMOST invented photography. He experimented with light sensitive materials, but never hit on a way to 'fix' the results. It was William Henry Fox Talbot who hit on the method for chemically 'fixing' images, and went on to experiment with film and print photography as we know it. Graham. We live in interesting times. |
