I was wondering if someone could please help me out and put this in English for me...it would be great help!! Thank you so much in advance!

Hello Guest. Here's a quick go but I'm struggling a bit. It won't make me a bard at the Gorseth but the general gist is probably there:

The Judge sent him to prison for 5 years. They were shocked in Porthpean. Today the usual tranquil place was full of grief. Also so were the stars at the Daphne du Maurier fair at the Sawmills recording studio, and councillors and the police.

Not a bad translation, Mike. It took place in January though the actual date is not mentioned. The injuries were to the head. It goes on to say that town councillors are asking for increased police numbers.
