In an attempt to minimize cross-cultural misunderstandings and tensions, in future, all prospective immigrants to West Cornwall will have to commit to learning Cornish! The story is here: http://relubbus...er-2007.html.

Aye , Good on them.
It should be everywhere.

Pass a law similar to the Welsh Language act.
The assembly (WE WILL HAVE ONE!!) will be spoken in Cornish.
Church services in Cornish , if the Bl**** English can have services in their own langauge , WHY CANT WE.
Formal Letters (aka government (assembly)ect.) to be written in Cornish.
The Official langauge of Cornwall is Cornish
Cornish is used in ALL public services ,from libraries to the (new reformed with equal funding!) hospitals.
Cornish is used on all road signs. Stuff the English. Anyone in Kerrier will know what the council has done ... English big , Cornish Tiny , make it the other way around.
Schools must use Cornish in their teaching.


Anyone who now doesnt speak cornish , would have to learn it to stay , and ALL EMMETS WILL HAVE TO LEARN OR MOVE OUT.

Lucky for us then that we are already learning. This will happen , and while the population is struggeling to learn the new langauge , we will be sitting back relaxing OR ,making huge money out of the new industry of Cornish lessons.

In your dreams buddy! I don't even know a Cornish person who can string a few sentenses together! (and that includes a few bards.)

yea have church services in Cornish and people will just flock to the churches, attendance will skyrocket, Christianity in Cornwall will be saved, we could have Cornish Idol on TV, singing in Cornish, or makeover a Cornish Bard, the possibilities are endless.

Have doctors in hospitals give prescriptions and instructions in Cornish ,that would kill off a few people.
