If you want your language to prosper and be spoken all over Cornwall, i suggest if you are already flunt in Cornish, or if you become fluent, that you only speak in Cornish to your children (if you ever have any). They will then be brought up to speak Cornish as their mother tongue, this shall overall help towards your recognition as a seperate nation, help your culture prosper, and of course stop your language dying out. if also you are a teacher in a nursery, primary school, it may be a good idea to teach the children Cornish, even if it is only as a second language. I will do when I have kids. How and where could we set up a Kernowak only speaking community? Perhaps we could get something together after the rally for independence. |
