Does anybody have any information on the history of Mawla Chapel. I know the current building was constructed in 1908, but cannot find a source of any further information such as how it was funded etc. Anything would be interesting such as anecdotes, tea treats or social history.

I know this is a bit obscure, but somebody may know someone who knows someone.

No info whatsoever on the chapel. But here is a picture of the Sunday School which is 25 yards from the church.

Looks a bit grim, eh?

The above link is to a series of interviews done with Methodists at Mawla Chapel in Cornwall.

They discuss local words and the Cornish accent. I doubt they chat about the chapel, but it is interesting anyhow.
