TV boss speaks out at French policy towards Brittany

The interview has appeared in a premiere Breton magazine. Patrick le Lay, the Breton chief of France’s main TV channel TF1, hit the French headlines following a frank interview with 'Bretons' magazine. In the interview he denounces the French government’s cultural genocide of the Breton people, jacobinist centralist policies, and how in France he feels that he is a foreigner.

Why can't they come up with a more appropriate phrase than"cultural genocide". It's stupid, an insult to people in counries where true genocide is happening, and hjust makes their cause look like a bit of a farce really.

Oh, and for christs sake don't ever ask them for an example of this "cultural genocide! icon_biggrin
