I am currently in Scotland on business.
Just some news:
1. The Scots are just as hacked off as the other Celts at the Flag of St George which is even being flown in their Country - sometimes at public expense.
2. Some Scots are getting a bit 'proactive' and are ending up being deliberately caught to try and make a point in Court.
3. The reckoning is that the SNP will be the next Government of Scotland as the combined Labour/Lib Dem Government is very unpopular - The SNP have a referendum planned on independence. I wonder how it will go (400,000 English resident in Scotland overall population 5 Million) ?
4. Why is a Scottish Nationalist not regarded as inward looking but a Cornish Nationalist is ? I am a hard line Cornish Nationalist, I have travelled to 43 countries and worked abroad, including charitably with orphans in Rumania, I am very pro Europe and pro Euro (as are most of the Scots), I have relatives around the globe and have visited them and I have friends across Europe. Are Cornish Nationalists inward looking or is this just an impression many would wish to create ?

Scotland as an example? I guess the Cornish wouldn't mind the extra thousand Pounds a year that the Scots get per head compared to the English...
