They switched the Christmas lights on in Truro on Wednesday

There are a few more pics at the bottom of this page, which also has some pics of Truro Cathedral and the 'City of Truro' when it was on show at Lemon Quay in the summer.

Hmm...

Very nice, but I think I prefer the Ozzie Xmas light.

It's a big shiny thing in the sky, rarely spotted in the UK. icon_biggrin icon_biggrin icon_biggrin

Stroppy, what are you a lizard? Goddamn sunny again, oh give me the four seasons any day.

I will be home to see the lights for Christmass, can't wait.

The lights look quite dull to me, I prefer Mousehole or Porthleven lights.
Thanks for the pictures though.
I find Truro a very dull city anyway.

We get the 4 seasons where Stroppy and I live, as we're both in the south. I love the seasons, we're just coming into summer and spring was beautiful, seeing all the gardens coming back into bloom. Oh yes we get the seasons and love it, we just get more sunshine, all year, which makes our winters easier to bare.

I've seen Mousehole and Newlyn lights, they are spectacular. I'm not bias, but my mothers family come from that area.
