Have started doing some 360 degree panoramic views of various places in Cornwall. The first few are a bit ropey and I've only been doing them for about a week now but I like them!
Anyway, they're here if you fancy a look:

Very nice, Chris! What are you using to take the pictures in the first place?

They are cool. I liked spherical Truro, you can spin in any direction. I'd love to know how it's done.

Most of the pics were taken with a Canon 5D using a tripod with a panoramic head and leveller. For most of the shots I've used a 24mm lens, but the Truro Cathedral one was taken with a 15mm fisheye - it sort of works, but it sort of looks like its on a slope. Will take a bit of trial and error to work out I think

What software do you use Chris?

I've done a few of these, but as the software I use "Panorama factory" (Smokey city software) will only output in "quicktime" format, I'm loathe to stick them online.

You can see one of mine here, on my mate Paul's pages, as a guest panorama.

Paul's Cornwall panorama's are worth a view too!

Supplimental questions..

Do you shrink your images down to the size they are viewed at, or does the viewer automatically resize to those dimensions when they are opened? (it looks as if you've shrunk them yourself as they pixelate quite soon after zooming in.)

What size is each pano? I understand you have your own web-business, so file size may not be as important a consideration for you as it is for me, should I ever get around to hosting mine online.
