THE MARCH IS ON!
AUGUST 27TH 17.00 LEAVING FROM PARADISE PARK/ST.MICHAELS THEN THROUGH HAYLE
THIS IS NOT ONLY A MASS PROTEST AGAINST THE CLOSURE OF ST.MICHAELS - BUT ALSO WITHDRAWAL OF SERVICES INCLUDING EMERGENCY SURGERY AT WEST CORNWALL- AND THE RESULTING CONSEQUENCES OF INCREASED PRESSURE ON THE ALREADY BURSTING TRELISKE. THIS IS A MARCH TO SAVE THE HEALTH SERVICE IN CORNWALL
THE BOTTOM LINE IS IF YOU LIVE IN CORNWALL YOUR GOING TO NEED HOSPITAL TREATMENT AT SOME POINT IN YOUR LIFE - WE NEED TO FIGHT TO SAVE WHAT WE HAVE LEFT
WE CAN BEAT THIS - DON'T BE APATHETIC - DON"T THINK OTHER PEOPLE WILL BE THERE SO YOU DON'T NEED TO BE - GO YOURSELF!

Obviously I cannot be there, but I have written a strongly worded letter to the council and others involved highlighting my concern and disgust with the proposed closure.

Shame they haven't got a downloadable poster on that site - I'd print one off and put it in the car. Do you think it would be ok to make one up?

I think they'd be delighted - why not design one for them and us to use?

I know I've started one - don't really know what to put on it - how would I make it available to other people? Would I have to put it on my site? I've done it on Publisher - should I copy it to a word processor or something?
Ok it's done - there seems to be confusion over where it's starting from - the town council site says St Micheals, the cornishman says Paradise Park. Which one should I put?

Email it to them, put it on your site, put it on this one (somewhere, somehow...), the wider coverage the better!

I've converted it to pdf - how do I go about hosting it? Sorry to be a bit thick but I am a bit of a luddite when it comes to all things technological

Don't forget - plenty of St.Piran's Flags - it has always been the sign of passive protest.
