Mike, that was a misquote from the Western Morning News, when asked (On Radio Cornwall) what the duration for restarting tin production, Kevin Williams answered 2 years, Laurence Reed then commented that he didn't think it would be possible to pump the mine out in 2 years, to which Kevin Williams replied, the plan is to commence production at the higher levels after 2 years, and it would be 4 years until the bottom of the mine was reached. I'm sure you'll agree that seems pretty reasonable.
Unfortunatly the WMN seems to have a habit of misquoting statements, to such an extent that it appears to give the RDA a reasonable viewpoint.
