We will make Cornwall see the lies.
We will open up their eyes.
We Cornish born and bred.
We fight on till we all are dead,
and listen for Palores' cries!
Quite sure Mike. Janet knows too. Not the first time she's sent nasty emails to Cornish people, also tracked some nasty stuff sent to certain CSP members a while ago. Janet should know better than to send abusive emails to IT professionals.
The emails have also been forwarded to people would be very interested to read their content who also know of 'Ja(He)net'
Clearly, grum,it would be constructive and beneficial for Cornwall to be included within the Convention as part of the process of attaining a level of autonomy and self-determination equivalent to or greater than those secured so far by Wales and Scotland.
I would much prefer to discuss the Convention. However, as a self-obsessive has chosen to misrepresent my views for her own ends, I shall respond.
Hen suggests that I get my facts wrong.
The first alleged wrong is my supposed stating she was hostile to Cornish inclusion. The second alleged wrong is my saying Shaz was largely in favour of inclusion, when, according to Hen, she has not intimated such a sentiment in her postings.
FIRSTLY, I did not say Hen was hostile to inclusion. I said she “offered no support”. This statement is factually correct. I then referred to “known hostiles and recent contributors”, and placed her in this category. This statement is also factually correct.
As I never said she was hostile to inclusion, her assertions arise from a negligent, or deliberate, misreading of the situation. If it was negligent, then she should take more care. If it was deliberate, then the intention was to discredit me, and by association, support for Cornish inclusion within the Convention.
SECONDLY: Shaz “largely in favour of inclusion”? On 11 January 2007, Shaz offered support to Frenchie after he suggested a possible way to obtain inclusion. On 13 Jan, Shax offered support to Mike when he identified an “important differentiating factor” that might assist those seeking inclusion. On 19 Jan Shaz enquired/prompted people to write to letters supportive of inclusion. On 19 Jan she urged the people of Cornwall to “wake up before its too late”. This is why I said Shaz was “largely supportive of inclusion”.
By deliberately cutting and pasting Shaz’s comments out of context, and using this underhand method to try and convince people that I get my facts wrong, Hen’s intention was to discredit me, and, by association, support for Cornish inclusion within the Convention.
This is more than simply picking a fight for the sake of it.
Hen makes a huge effort to discredit me, but never once condemns Government wrongdoing.
No doubt readers of, and contributors to, this site will draw their own conclusions from this latest episode.
In fact, there is probably a job waiting for her at the DCLG so-called ‘Race Equality Unit’ on her return to these shores [and maybe an MBE for keeping the Cornish down same as Doris].
