I don't know about Nazi Germany, but I know that it was the only British newspaper not to be banned in Mussolini's Italy, and the only newspaper to support Oswald Mosely's British Union of Fascists (in an infamous editorial entitled "Hurrah for the Blackshirts").
Well, I know Rupert Murdoch only employs editors who share his politics, and I assume the same is true of other media barons. The editors then instruct their sub-editors to doctor any story that doesn't conform to the paper's editorial line.

I'd level the same argument against the left. Extremes of all sides of the political spectrum are the same, why just pick on the right? I can think of some right nasty pieces of work in say Class War or Socialist Wanker, sorry worker.
