.......said a posh Cornish cling-on at the end of the players performance at Perran Sands, when Celtic League branch secretary Mike Chappell stood up and was counted when making an appeal for people to peacefully protest against the Loving Cup Ceremony on Monday week.

Well done Mike !

It's was encouraging to see, which is more than can be said for some higher profile so called activists who were conspicuous by their absence or their silence.

Where there's a Negative - there's always a Positive. You just have to find it.

"Cornish St Piran's Day celebrations should be marked by a public holiday in the Duchy, parliament were told today. The five Liberal Democrat MPs in Cornwall are due to call for a debate on the Duchy's patron saint in the House of Commons today. The move - made on St Piran's Day itself - follows a step by Bodmin Town Council to declare the day a holiday for its staff."

We believe that Cornwall should have its own public holiday on the 5th March to commemorate St Piran’s day.
