Gunwalloe - Church Cove
View across Church Cove in Gunwalloe at the base of the Lizard Peninsula.
The church is St Winwalloe with it's distinctively seperate bell tower and surrounding Tamarisk hedge....
newlyn house
Wonderfully painted frontage....
rogers tower
A folly built 18th C, for Mr Rogers, a local landowner....
With the vultures, chancers, nutters, liers and journalists circling around the CNLA story I'd just like to make a couple of observations.
1) When 50,000 people sign a petition calling for Cornish devolution or the Cornish Stannary Parliament gets a case logged with the European Court of Human Rights that will involve the Duke of Cornwall not a whisper is heard in the London (even Cornish) press. Then when the government refuses to release information under the FOI act concerning the petition or the case for the Cornish under the Council of Europe's framework convention for the protection of national minorities, silence! However when some unknown individuals with unclear motivation threaten some London lovey Chefs, ell up!
YOU ARE PATHETIC, ARE YOUR PAY CHECKS ALL YOU NEED TO BE ABLE TO LIVE WITH YOURSELFS?
2) Does the Anglo-British establishment, monarchy and Westminster parliament, after centuries of bloody repression in Ireland, ruthless global imperialism and the latest massacre in Iraqi, having any grounds what so ever to reproach the Cornish?
BLAIR YOU ARE A HYPOCRITE WITH BLOOD ON YOU HANDS, 'DO AS I SAY NOT AS I DO' HUH?
Yea the Nazis were vastly misunderstood, remember the Bretons liked them, so the Cornish should form its own National Socialist Party, anything could be better than Nasty Blair, who has massacred ,I dunno, what is it now 1 million Iraqis, and the English, I think you had better look again in those tin mines, for the mass graves off all the Cornish that the English have massacred.
And I hear they are building camps for the rest of you, to make way for more English people and Poles to move into Cornwall.
Goky, I realy think that you should give up the boxing, it's starting to have an effect.
Your postings show that you seem to be a little confused, and unsure of yourself.
Perhaps Long distance running would be a more apropreate passtime, it would aso give you time to get your thoughts in order before you post them.
Kernow Kensa!
Our day will come!
"Everyone has their own particular part to play. No part is too great or too small, no one is too old or too young to do something."
Following the threats from the group calling itself the Cornish National Liberation Army here is a good article in the Telegraph: http://www.tele...nwall115.xml
I believe, that if you think about it logically, and analyse how the Anglo-Saxons won the west, you might (conceivably?) come to the conclusion that the sophistication of the Anglo-Imperial machine shows others up for being outright bungling amateurs!
STOP THE CORNISH GENOCIDE!- The existence of divergent views occur because the lies and deception have a more profoundly negative, and contrived, consequence for the Cornish people than for anyone else within the UK.
No one should be targets! OK, lets get that stright, but aren't the countless unelected quangos, the Duchy and English heritage higher on the list than some London chefs?
Especially English Heritage and one turd in particular, name of David Stuart, who I wouldn't mind 10 minutes in a back alley with (or, better still, swords at dawn). That's one score I'd dearly like to settle.
