Cornwall is the poorest county in the UK. It's aving larf! Cornwall local people are poor too. Most locals I know only do crap jobs like working in a hotel or restuarant, feeling like poor sad losers they are and getting jealous of everybody else, who are BETTER and RICHER than them.
Also they seem to have loads of kids on the state too.
I brought up the suggestion that Cornwall needs to create new business to revitalise Cornish people's income in another thread, and it was quite misunderstood.
You can't really speak for all Cornish though by stating that everyone feels like a sad loser and is jealous. Money isn't the only thing in the world, and it certainly doesn't make people better.
I've met people who are rich, but can be complete imbeciles, like a wealthy underclass. Like these 'hooray henrys' that come down from Eton.
Jezza. You can barely write , you illiterate goon.People respond better to people who can actually do sentences and stuff. You know , the basics. It kind of undermines any point you were trying to make , and all the thicko capitals and exclamation marks won't make any difference.
i feel sorry for people who believe that all there is too life is the accumulation of wealth, property and "stuff". I find it all self serving and totally shallow. The other day i could of died of laughter i saw one of the "Chelsea land rover set" coming out of there "retreat" a small , demure looking woman preened and groomed in all the finery of the incomer, and there in the back sat the very reason why that huge planet killing four by four was in such dire need, a small 11 inch long baby no older than a few weeks trussed up the back!. I thought to myself now there is more than enough reason to kill old mother earth so you can take your infant child 100 yards down the road to the post office!,
Well I suppose so Celticwarrior. That is Cornwall plus point. Very near nature and much more environmentally friendly than other parts with great potential.
If people pollute the Earth too much it will affect things.
I'm rich and when I get even richer there is going to be a sudden influx of money to various cornish independence movements to shut English know-alls like you up once and for all.
Perhaps Mr Jezza should take a look closer to home . Parts of England are now feeling a little wetter and crying over there treasured pocessions.
Bet they to now feel like the poor relations but bet they come out of it smiling from ear to ear.
Cornwall as always been kept down lowest wages highest taxes. Its not resentment for their wealth as much as wanting equal rights to identiy and fair treatment when ut comes to being reconized for our culture , language and nationality. So the second home 4x4 owning emmets can take there arragant self back to were they came and give us back our Country
