Vote, Poll, whatever no one ***** wants it. Bolitho's statement was correct, no they won't rip anyone to shreds for not using the right word, because at the end of the day we know what he ***** well means.

I fear the Tories will get on the Celtic bandwagon and sell out the Cornish.

I think Andrew George and Dan Rogerson are a decent Cornish MPs, the other Lib Dems are careerists.

Viva La CNLA!!!

QuoteIn an interview on a Welsh documentary, David Whalley told anyone thinking of taking direct action to get involved by democratic means, yet when the public vote overwhelmingly against a unitary authority, he and his council still go ahead with it. Call that democracy? What lengths are we going to have to go to, to have our voices heard!!??

Good to see you on C24 Jack, keep up the good work and don't forget to ignore the twaats. icon_smile

Follow those who's heart is in it. Ignore those who's career is in the equation.

Fuuck politics, follow your heart, save Kernow!

The rest is history, the remains are your future. icon_cool

Kernow for ever.

QuoteI know what you wished to convey.

However go making statements that are not correct. They will rip you to bits and make you look like you haven't a clue.

Take a second glance at Bolitho's avatar, it says more than you or your camera will ever say. You are English, he is not.

I knew people would forget, but I thought it would take longer than a week. They're all careerists Brian. Party puppets, each and every one of them.

Don't bite Moonshine. That's exactly what the arse wants. I like your style, and I like your postings, but I don't think the moderator will be as keen.

Where there's a Negative - there's always a Positive. You just have to find it.

Votes for or votes against, it doesn’t make any difference to our undemocratic councils. icon_confused

Several of our Cornish Councils count the votes then announce the result THEY WANT, it is done with tenacity, cunning and is helped by the electorates’ reluctance to vote. icon_biggrin

Our reluctance to vote icon_rolleyes means a pole of more than 35% is regarded as good, 40% very good, 45% exceptional and this then paves the way for a vote in the Councils favour.

How, I here you ask, well the Council at Camelford some time ago posted most of the rate payers of the town voting slips, the vote was on the introduction of parking charges for the towns car park. The votes returned to the town hall were overwhelmingly ‘not’ to introduce parking charges, however the council wanted them and announced that the votes NOT RETURNED to the town hall were counted as FOR the charges, hence even if there had been an exceptional vote and all voted against, the council would still had their way. icon_lol

The government are a little different; they don’t give us the chance to vote unless they are sure of the outcome. icon_cool

Illiberal Demagogues?

I'm Cornish; feel free to argue the point with me (for what it might achieve!)

I hear that the Fib/Dems are losing Members and Troops fast. I wonder why? lol
There is only one Party that really looks after the interests of the People of Cornwall, and that is MK.

i think its time for civil disobedience, stop paying council tax etc its time the people of Kernow started to stand up for themselves and make a stand , our land is being over run by second home owners and middle class Anglo fascists and our authorities act in there favor all the time and every time. We must act now!

You could always withhold your Council Tax Payments in protest of your disapproval
