It seems the farming industry is on the block again with the latest outbreak of Foot and Mouth.

I've been mulling this over in my head, but can't find any sort of figures to see what the impact was in 2001 and how long it took for the farmers to recover from it.

Any ideas?

Indeed,Masterclass, and there are many ways in which the land can be nurtured to do just that that are more efficient than rearing animals for slaughter.

So, what is the best way to prevent things like this happening again? I'm all for immunization, as it was suggested last time.

The economic impact of this has the potential to be huge.

Looks like we need more strict controls on the labs as it looks like that's where it's come from. Either someone has been sloppy or someone did it on purpose.

This kind of thing effects more that just those directly involved in the farming industry. My wife and I did our best to support her parents when the price they could get for their lambs dropped through the floor last time. We were skint because what was happening.

There are 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary and those who don't.
