Firstly

Nadelik Lowan dhe hwi oll.

Today, for Christmas i recieved a "Teachme!Cornish" product.

I loaded it up, and WOW

ITS B***DY BRILLIANT

Its absolutly ... well , amazing

If YOU want to learn Cornish, invest a little money in this small item and you will be well on your way!

It covers everything from simple words to complex tenses and very advanced vocabulary.

It also comes with a small book of stories and there is even more stories on the CD and an audiobook

You can find the product (along with many other languages) here :

I just thought i had to share this!

Brilliant

The product you mention offers both Kemyn and UCR, as does another one described on Jonathan Kereve-Clarke's site http://www.kere.../history.htm

As he puts it:
Eurotalk’s Learn Cornish has both Kemmyn and UCR as does Teach Me Cornish published by Cambridge Educational & Sain. Neither actually says why there is more than one spelling system nor do they give you the advice necessary to help you choose. Eurotalk is only helpful for the serious beginner as it is little more than a small interactive dictionary, Teach Me Cornish is more advanced, but probably slightly harder to use, I would recommend Teach me Cornish as it gives you more to work with!.

Personally, I'd recommend getting both, if you can afford it. However, it must be noted that, while 'Learn Cornish' works natively on both Windows and MacOS, the 'Teach Me Cornish' product needs Windows (or Windows emulation under MacOS).

Maybe when 'Kernewek Kemmyskreydh' is finalised, someone will bring out some lessons for ipod, great for listening on the commute to work, surprising how quick you can pick things up, by listening for an hour each day.

Of course someone will have to figure out the proper use of the definite article and the genitive construction.

I have tried Eurotalk, its what we learn with on the small time period of Cornish Lessons, personally i think it's rubbish. There are some good bits, but TeachMe!Cornish has alot more vocabulary and is generally better ... in my opinion.

Also, when my dad purchased this for me, he said there was no choice between KK or UCR, and there is none on the website either!
Thankfully, i know that the spellings are KK as that is my favoured spellign system.
