QuoteThe Cornish Social and Economic Research Group (CoSERG) is an independent research group concerned for the future of Cornwall and the Cornish people. It was founded in 1986 by a group of individuals concerned about the lack of a Cornish perspective in both research and the preparation of important policy documents in Cornwall

I've also found:

The Cornwall Lecture: http://www.thec...lecture.com/

QuoteThe Cornwall Lecture is an annual event which addresses themes of importance to the social and/or economic life of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Speakers are invited to challenge current thinking and to take part in discussions which contribute to policy making in different areas.

QuoteWe are a small group of individuals, based in Cornwall, frustrated at the lack of progress in response to climate change, and amazed that still no-one seems to have noticed that peak oil is about to strike (if we’re not there already). There are currently just 21 of us. We meet when we need to, do what we need to, and support each other.

Hooked, lined and sinkered.

Listen chaps, you just need to start planting a few hemp plants in da area.

And remember, there is plenty of hidden oil around the world, it's just that it's all about demand not meeting supply and big businessmen making big money.

Did you kill an Iraqi today to fill your tank?

Or did you pax a big government surcharge on your fuel to have them done in on your behalf?
I did.

It ain't green and it ain't funny.

You might not like their views, methods or findings but what must be welcomed is their Cornwall focus, in their own way they recognise the territorial integrity of Kernow and go toward the creation of a Cornish politic.

What worries me about CoSERG is that no one seems to take any notice of them. They published that wonderful book "Cornwall at the Crossroads" back in 1988, whose contents have been summarily ignored by just about everyone ever since. One of the co-authors of that book was Andrew George who is now unrecognisable from the person who co-penned that book.
