Truly a Pile of Poo.

http://andymanchesta.com/ICONS/1%20(67).gifNot unlike the excrement discharging down the stream under Oliver's caff and onto the beach.http://andymanchesta.com/ICONS/1%20(67).gif

isn't it so typical of anything to do with our great land, people and culture that the Cornish and cornishness just gets shoved to one side and overlooked. And why is it that the chief protagonists in these things are always people coming into Cornwall never the locals themselves.
Jason Donovan is an Australian.
Films like Blue juice where Sean Pertwees character is originally from London who moved here and became the bestest surfer of them all (yeah right!) Doc Martin crusades into Cornwall and is bemused and befuddled by the comical antics of the "stupid" locals. Even Wycliffe who admittedly was a local was so grossly inaccurate in his portrayal of a "local" man when the phrase "That be favorite" was used by all the other incidental characters, I'm 35 years old and from old Cornish stock and i have never heard anyone from here say that!!.
If they are gong to make a truly accurate drama about Cornwall why dont they have real Issues that affect this land
Poor wages
lack of affordable housing
miseducation about our culture
the corruption in our local government
how everything belonging to us is being usurped by economic terrorism
INSTEAD of making a program that does nothing but promote "Trendy Cornwall" to our neighbors over the water. And you can be sure they will be signing up to the housing lists now that we have 70,000 house being built here in the next 20 years.

'economic terrorism' - a true and accurate description.

It has been and is doing more damage to Cornwall, her people and her environment than any of the activities the anglo-imperialist media such as BBC Radio Cornwall and Northcliffe Media's Western Morning News have described as Cornish 'terrorism'.

celticwarriornow that we have 70,000 house being built here in the next 20 years.

With right fight and resistance that is not as inevitable as your wording suggests,cw.

It's time for sincere use and application of the word 'sustainable' which NONE of that is.
