In the top right corner of this site, being advertised is a T-shirt with the phrase: "Cornwall is next to England, like Wales."
I thought I'd open this tread for people to escape the pressure of the General Cornish Forum and to record when and where they have seen someone wearing one of these T-Shirts, or others like it that might exist.
I'll start.
Yesterday I was in Roche, around 3 P.M-ish, walking down the hill towards the village centre and I saw a man outside the Poacher's pub proudly displaying this logo on his chest.
I have no idea who this guy is but good on him.
I am awake at 4am to the terrifying undeniable truth that there is nothing I can do to stop the monster

I wear one regularly, especially when being interviewed by the media.
We need more imagination however, are Cornish heritage open to new print designs?

My suggestion is a sppof on Ginsters pasties
"Contents proudly made in Cornwall from the finest locally sourced ingredients:
No artifical flavourings
No artifical colourings
No MSG
No E numbers
and definitely no English"
but I guess it would be seen as racist
Proud to be Cornish !

Could be funny. I would like a T shirt with Aphex Twin for Myghtern, with a picture of Richard D James embracing the cornish reigns of power.
Perhaps a cornish chough pecking one of Prince Charles's pasty ears???
Certainly a satirical Duchy themed T would be cool.

I've got a 'dreckly' tshirt that I wear out all the time from www.spin-a-yarn.co.uk
The shirts are tongue in cheek and the guys that make them Brendan Sleeman and Becky Matthews are good, young Cornish people.
The biggest independent brewer in Canada is Sleemans Brewery. The provide free beer for all the Cornish gatherings and conferences in Canada.
Why?
The brewery founder was John Sleeman who emigrated from Helston in 1834; he had a brewery at the top of Meneage Street. The brewery head is still a Sleeman.

There's a place I know of in Falmouth that will print just one item at a reasonable rate, these can be put on to your own t-shirt or jacket which is the bit I like it makes it more individual.

I have and wear a Tee shirt that says " Made in Cornwall" and a baseball cap that says, " Cornish not English"
Assumption, is the Mother of all Cockups!
Better to have it and not need it, than to need it, and not have it!
