CoadyTaran, you have won.
All you are doing now is resuscitation on the corpse of ILH's 'argument'
Do the kind thing... let it go now...

How has he won?

......Through superior intellect, reasoning and research, better presentation of arguments and correct use of forum tools.

You make me blush Coady.

No intended continuation of the thread, just something I thought ILH could usefully read :

From the Washington Post relating to the Georgian/Russian conflict:

By Tara Bahrampour
Washington Post Staff Writer
Tuesday, September 9, 2008; Page A12

Washington PostSuch complaints helped spark massive protests here last November, which the government crushed with tear gas and masked troops wielding batons, staining Georgia's international image. Saakashvili ended the crisis by calling a snap presidential election; he won a second term, though with less support than in the previous election and with allegations of vote-rigging.

Georgian president welcomes Russian pull-out
Tuesday, 9 September 2008 07:39

Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili has given a qualified welcome to the news that Russia had agreed to pull its troops from all of Georgia, except the two separatist regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

However, he insisted that any long-term solution to the conflict had to respect his country's territorial integrity, which included the disputed territories

It follows talks in Moscow between French President Nicolas Sarkozy and his Russian counterpart President Dmitry Medvedev.

AdvertisementRussia has also agreed on the deployment of at least 200 EU observers in Georgia by the 1 October to monitor a ceasefire, ahead of talks on the conflict in Geneva later that month.

Meanwhile, President Saakashvili said he took exception to the increased use by diplomats of the term Georgia 'proper.'

What does it mean to be English?
Being English is about driving in a German car to an Irish pub for a Belgian beer then travelling home grabbing an Indian curry or a Chinese on the way to sit on Swedish furniture and watch American soap shows on a Japane

You just don't read do you ILH. You are given every opportunity, but you are immune to rational discussion. As usual your last post is irrelevant.

How exactly is it ir-relevant that a democratically elected President is being oppressed by an autocratic neighbour?

Russia is an autocratic country. Why should the West which is composed of democracies not help a friend like Georgia?

Is it that you can't read or that you don't want to? Or is it that you just don't understand what you have read?

Coady is right, I shouldn't bother with this any more and I'm not going to!

ILH - it is quite obvious you don't understand anything we've been talking about for weeks.

Please stop asking dumb, one liner, questions and read something, then try and understand it.

Please try and answer questions posed to you by others, it can help you to understand things a little more clearly.

If you have a position on something argue it, don't just keep posing dumb, open ended questions. It just make you look stupid.
