The trouble is, as has been said by my friend Black Hearted Ned, even with all this planning abuse, massive in-migration, lack of sustainability and dearth of Cornish housing, there is not one person or group who can really manage to 'set the heather alight' across the Duchy and get people motivated to fight.
Angarrack seems to be able to bring some of the Cornish movement together for the fighting fund but surely the housing and social issues are something that could unite a much larger swathe of the Cornish public.
Here is the solution to the FICTITIOUS 'housing shortage':
STOP THE 'NEW BUILD' BOLLOX.
TAKE BACK the 20-40,000 residential houses in
The Duchy Of Cornwall/Cornwall/Kernow
(Including those of non-resident Wasteminster MPs)
that have been STOLEN from the available residential housing stock
by anti-social and conscienceless NON-RESIDENTS
(Including The Absentee Duke Of Cornwall).
That's what I can't understand Fulub, I agree, but people seemed to get hotter under the coller about things like the new unitary council logo than they do about the fact that Cornwall is being pushed by a London government agenda into a massive 20 year house building programme which will change the “distinct, valuable, recognisable and consistent pattern of elements in the landscape" that makes the Cornwall and it's landscape different from that of other places.
I suspect more people and organisations have written to newspapers and internet forums about that than have, for example, responded to the Camborne Redruth Illogan Pool Area Action Plan.
The new logo just represents a 'jumped up' liberal democrat run county council. If it was the logo for the new Cornish Assembly I could understand people getting excited.
