It's so easy to support England as this is what our brains have been conditioned to do throughout our lives. Fight it and look at the truth, support our Celtic cousins in Cymru and lose the hold of the English over you!!
Quite agree AndyQ - I've been supporting Cymru since I was a tacker and there's been some hard and long years in between, but there's no need for Cornish to support our neighbours across the Water, there's a whole world of small nations to support.
Despite Rugby being the one and only game - when the spherical ball competitions come up the best bit is supporting another small nation.
England is the fourth biggest football country in Europe so it has all the support it needs.
Unlike Joe I'm fairly confident that England has no chance of winning the world cup. In the last European championship it was knocked out before the semi-final stage and the combined population of the four countries left was less than Englands.
In football terms - size doesn't count for everything. Didn't they lose to Northern Ireland 1-0 recently?
Let me see if I've got this right, CJ...they've a better chance of winning the whole tournament than they have of winning a single game? I think I need a bit of a lie down...
