Perranwell

Perranwell is a Cornish village located about half way between Truro and Falmouth. Hidden among the narrow lanes north of the A39, Perranwell is on the Coast to Coast cycle path and the Truro to Falmouth railway line.

A small settlement called Peranwell Station has grown up around the railway station, which opened in 1863 and is still in use today. Perranwell is a charming place, crossed by streams which run through the gardens of some of the houses. There is a post office, a village shop and a pub. Both coasts are a short drive away, as is the picturesque woodland of Kennall Vale with its old ruins of the gunpowder mills.
