In my opinion one of the finest views of old Penzance. This is looking out over the Abbey Basin quayside towards the dry dock and warehouses. To the right is Abbey Slip, which leads up to Chapel Street and on the left is Ross bridge, which swings open to allow ships access to the dry dock. What I love about this view is it probably hasn't changed much in the best part of 200 years and you can almost feel the history of the place.
