Looking up Jericho Valley at the old mine workings of the Blue Hills Mine. The mine here ran from the early 18th century right up until the beginning of the 20th century.

Today all that is left of the operation are the ruined engine houses which follow the valley down to Trevellas Porth. However, the Blue Hills Tin Streams is a small operation which collects the naturally occurring tin from the stream flowing through the valley, and turns it into jewellery.
