The former telephone exchange in Penzance was converted to a contemporary art gallery in 2007. As the centerpiece of the new design this 55 metre bowed glass facade was installed. Whilst in the daytime it is only of mild interest at night the 150 arrays of high powered LEDs put on this arresting show.
The lights are set up to change colour with green, blue and white LEDs. They are sensitive to pressure and proximity so will interact with passers by.
