Fore Street Methodist Church - St Ives

One of several Methodist churches dotted around St Ives - testament to the Wesleyan tradition in the town. Whilst a couple of the other chapels have been turned to other uses there are still 3 active Methodist churches in St Ives.

The chapel here dates back to 1800 and was founded by the Countess of Huntingdon's Connexion - a small society of evangelical congregations started by Lady Selina Shirley. The church is now know as the Zion Community Church
