St Enodoc's Church is located in the hamlet of Trebetherick between Rock and Polzeath. It overlooks Daymer Bay and over the years the sand built up around the church, so much so that for several hundred years the church was in danger of disappearing under the sand. For this reason the church was known as 'Sinking Neddy'
The site of the church is reputedly where the cave in which St Enedoc spent his hermitage. The building itself dates back in part to the 12th century with additions made up to the 15th.
The tower and spire are one of the churches most distinctive features with the slight bend at the top. The churchyard is notable for being the resting place of poet laureate Sir John Betjamin.
